Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law #1)
One bad corpse can ruin your whole day.
No one knows that better than Rhiannon Murphy.
She left behind the flash and sass of Miami for the no-nonsense groove of New York City, eager for a clean slate and a fresh start. A bartender by trade, a loud mouth by choice, and a necromancer by chance; she managed to keep her nifty talent hidden from those around her—until now.
The deliciously good-looking vampire, Disco, knows her secret. When he strolls into her bar to solicit help investigating the mysterious disappearances of his kind from the city, Rhiannon discovers he’s not the kind of person that appreciates the significance of the word no.
But in a world where vampires peddle their blood as the latest and greatest drug of choice, it’s only a matter of time before the next big thing hits the market. Someone or something is killing vampires to steal their hearts, and unlike Rhiannon, this isn’t their first stroll around the undead block.
Loved it! Rhiannon is a crack-up! She's foul-mouthed and straight to the point but I love her! It's refreshing. First book I've read by Jaime Saare and it certainly won't be the last :)
This was a re-read for me and it was just as good the second time. I had forgotten how vulnerable Rhiannon is in this book. In the future installments that's not the case. Rhiannon has to be my all time favorite MC her sarcasm and actions are so funny. When I look back to this book compared to the last one the transformation and growth that Rhiannon goes through is crazy. I do wish there had been more scenes with Paine in book 1 though. Ms. Saare is a mastermind with her character developments
4.5 starsThis book managed to hook me from the start; I loved it instantly. I think it was something about the characters, the writing style, the interesting storyline, the hilarious lines, or maybe a combination of everything. Actually, what I really think it was, was the main character Rhiannon. She seemed real to me she wasnt some whiny little girl, she was a bad-ass and could handle her own business, but she did get scared as a normal person should in similar situations. The badI sometimes

Rhiannon's Law #37: Don't get so high and mighty, God will only reward that arrogance with a huge bitch slap back to reality. Necromancer based Urban Fantasy is fascinating but not done nearly enough for my liking, so I was especially excited to read this one. Rhiannon is a bartender who doesn't want her ability known, but finds she has little choice when called out hiding by a local Master vampire who needs her help finding out who has been slaughtering local vamps for ritual magic. The

mon avis en FrançaisMy English review I was really curious about this novel after all the good things that I had heard and the beautiful reviews that I had the opportunity to read about it. I must say that everyone was loving it. I confess, however, that after having bought the book, it took me some time before starting it. And what idea I had, because the book is like everyone said, very good! I spent a pleasant time with Rhiannon and I already can not wait to read more as soon as possible.OurLoved it!
