Embracing the Flames beings 5 months after Aurora returns to the realm, she is now training, There is corruption in the Fates and Zordons army is getting strong and it wont be long before he tries to get the Stone of Immortality.Aurora is still finding her powers and she has to learn to merge with her dragon side which she is scared of as she cannot control her dragon side.This novel was a rollercoaster of emotions and there were lots of twists and turns which I liked. With romance, fantasy,



Book #2 I enjoyed..This book followed up where the first ended.Back in her own realm and still trying to find a way to Zordon. With a bunch of shocking twists and turns made me wanting to know what was going to happen next. I loved the versus to the songs and prophecy! they fit right into the book. I was a little confused on the character Lexi.. It seemed she had a bunch of mood swings. The way this book ended left wanting to read the next book and im so excited to see how it will go!!!

I received an eARc copy of this book to read for a blog tour in return for an honest review. I have to say that at first the book seemed very long and drawn out and it took me longer to read than normal. I had no trouble putting it aside and reading another book. But as the story progressed, it started to get better and the action was phenomenal. I loved the action and suspense in it. The characters were still magnificent and lovable. And Embracing the Flames starts pretty close to where we left off, picking up with Aurora and Fenn training for the fight of their lives. In Embracing the Flames Candace Knoebel gives us lots more magic, lots more dragon and a lot more heat. The magic that Candace Knoebel used was faintly reminiscent of Harry Potter as the mage had to literally vocalize spells

This was a scorcher of a read! Where book 1 was more YA Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance, book 2 is very much Epic Fantasy combining romance, mystery and mayhem.
