As wild and reckless as the most incorrigible of her male cousins, Amy Malory has reached a marriageable age and has set her sights on a most inappropriate mate: the straight-laced American ship captain who once nearly had her Uncle James hung hanged for piracy.

Warren Anderson is shocked by the brazen advances of his despised enemy's beautiful niece. Though determined to resist her, he burns for the enchanting British minx. And an impassioned heart implores him to surrender to a love that could stoke the smoldering fires of a family feud into a dangerous, all consuming blaze.

Article Based On Books The Magic of You (Malory-Anderson Families #4)
This series is getting better and better, I have to thank my friends Eden Creed for introducing me to Johanna Lindsey, so far I'm loving her books.Amy was such a refreshing heroine, she literally lightened the atmosphere in any scene in the book. What I loved about her was her boldness, brazenness more like it, I have read my fair share of bold strong-minded heroine but Amy was totally different, she took boldness to a totally different level, going after her man like that, which had me going

I absolutely loved this book, although I didn't expect to. First of all, Warren seemed like a jerk when I first met him in Gentle Rogue. He didn't seem like he had a personality or a sense of humor. Secondly, he's so much older than Amy. But I ended up adoring this book and Amy and Warren as a couple. Warren needs a woman like Amy. He's so serious and rather pompous, and she infuses him with life. I know that Amy chases him shamelessly, but I found it appealing in this book. Normally I don't

So, I'm not shy about how much I love the Malory series! I cannot get enough of them and love the interaction between the Malory family and the Andersons who can't seem to stop marrying their women! The books do such a great job of creating male characters both full of emotion and who are also men of action. We get so much insight into the thoughts and feelings of Lindsey's men and I guess thats a big part of what draws me to these stories that I love the outward gruff and toughness of the men

I like these series a lot! So I feel bad rating this one so low. Thought I should voice my opinion on the problems I had and at the same time highly recommend the other volumes of the 'Mallorys'!The story and the plot lines are fine, the only problem is Amy. She is insufferable in her stubbornness, and its highly unlikely anyone will tolerate her as much as everyone in this book does. At first I was very impressed with the fact that the heroine is taking the initiative, and of course was

Is this a romance? If it is then where was the love? All I saw a pathetic childish heroine was chasing the hero and claiming her love for him again and again. The point is I didn't feel the love. She knew that the hero doesn't like her but she was determined to make him love her. Sorry but no sorry, the heroine whole banter was just irritating. And the hero who was another example of pathetic personality stuck in his past love life where other evil women ruined his life ..... blah blah blah and

5 FULLY AMAZING STARSThis is my favorite in this series by JL Review in a few.
