Poor Gillian. She's 16 and never been kissed. She's not popular. She's not a "cool" person. Someone like David, the popular good looking boy, could never like her. Wait, I think I hear some baby crying in the woods in the middle of winter! Let me go find this crying kid and then I can save them and be popular! Wait, maybe it's not cool to save people. Hmm. I'll try anyway. Oops! Fell into the icy creek! Freezing to death. Having a near-death experience and this hot boy angel comes forward! "Hey

This is the most disappointing book in the series. As someone has already said in this book Night World is very little. I was a little disappointed with this book, as I wanted to know more about Night World. Oh one thing good was a little cameo by Ash!! Our heart-stopper Ah! *sighs* He is reformed here but would have loved more of him too.. :DThe first half of the book was just about Gillian and her angel and her change from timid invisible girl to the popular girl. It was little irritating as

23 May 2019Dark Angel is book 4 in the Night World series.I liked how Ash also shows up in this book, if only for a bit. And we see the good side of him.The last few chapters really got me feeling bad for Angel.

Dark Angel was a book with a great plot. It starts out when Gillian is saved by a angel. This angel changes her life from being the most unknown girl to the most popular girl in her school. It had slow rising point when Gillian finds out that her guardian angel was a lost spirit. Gillian is unable to do anything because her guardian spirit has turned on her. With the help of her friends, Gary, the guardian angel who turns out the be her distant cousin is forgiven for all the sins he has been

She dies alone and cold but gets a choice to come back. When she does she's not alone - an "Angel" came back with her.A very dark Angel - which leads to you yelling at her and the book for 80% or so of the book.So far its my least favorite in the Night World series.

I really liked how different this one was from the others. I thought the beginning was a great introduction of the main character, and I appreciated how she grew throughout the story. I was a little bummed when it got to the end and repeated a lot of what happens in the other books. Still, the approach was new, and it was really fun to read.

This book was tough to get through. The beginning was exciting and eventuality for the first couple of chapters. But then the book just didnt go anywhere. The next couple chapters were just about Gillian gaining popularity and getting noticed. And then more chapters after that. And then it got to the point where I almost put the book down and was going to consider it a DNF. -BUT- Im glad I didnt. The ending was almost worth the drawn out boring middle. The last 4-5 chapters were exciting again!
