Narration Concering Books Shattered (Alaskan Courage #2)

Piper McKenna couldn't be more thrilled that her prodigal brother, Reef, has returned to Yancey, Alaska, after five years. But her happiness is short-lived when Reef appears at her house covered in blood. A fellow snowboarder has been killed--but despite the evidence, Reef swears he's innocent. And Piper believes him.

Deputy Landon Grainger loves the McKennas like family, but he's also sworn to find the truth. Piper is frustrated with his need for facts over faith, but he knows those closest to you have the power to deceive you the most. With his sheriff pushing for a quick conviction, some unexpected leads complicate the investigation, and pursuing the truth may mean risking Landon's career.

With Piper waging her own search, the two head deep into Canada's rugged backcountry--and unexpected complications. Not only does their long friendship seem to be turning into something more, but this dangerous case is becoming deadlier with each step.

Write Up About Books Shattered (Alaskan Courage #2)
AMAZING book!!!! I'll try to remember to post my review here later!

by Andrea Renee CoxThis book was just okay for me. I really liked the complex plot, once it got out of a redundancy rut at about the halfway mark (the same portions of the case were summed up three times in the first thirty-six pages, without any/much new details). There were breathtaking stunts, surprising twists, and plenty of action. I especially loved the brother/sister bond between Piper and Reef. Her fierce belief in him, swiftly followed by intense protectiveness of him, was a sweet and

After reading book one, Submerged, I couldn't wait to read the next book in the series and was excited when I got hold of a copy of Shattered.Everything I loved about book 1 in the series continued in book 2. The suspense was great, lots of twists and turns that kept you fascinated and never knowing who the murderer is or why until the very end, and even then he didn't make it easy. The story was well thought out and well written.I continued to love getting to know the McKenna family, especially

Congratulations to my friend, Dani Pettrey! I thoroughly enjoyed Shattered. Right at the outset of the novel, a murder occurs. The heroine's brother is arrested for the murder and so the heroine (Piper) and the hero (Landon) set off to track down the real killer and thus free Piper's brother. I was intrigued by the mysterious past of the murder victim and I had a ball following along with Piper and Landon as they uncovered a trail of clues and -- along the way -- faced their feelings for one

You don't want to miss this one!I have been eagerly awaiting the release of Shattered since I read Submerged last year. Reconnecting with the McKennas is such a delight! I fell in love with Piper and Landon from the beginning and I'm so happy their story came next.Picking a favorite McKenna is like picking a favorite book or child, you just shouldn't do it. I love them all! Granted, I don't know too much about Reef yet so it's hard to tell if I like him as much as the others. That being said,

Title: Shattered (Alaska Courage Book #2)Author: Dani PettreyPages: 368Year: 2013Publisher: Bethany Submerged is the first book in this series that introduces us to the various family members of the McKenna family. However, not all the family members have the same last name, but that doesnt affect the deep, loving, abiding bond they have and is seen by observers. The first novel centered on Cole and Bailey, leaving their future to be developed. Here we see where their relationship has progressed

I predict I have finished another bestselling novel. Only time will truly tell, but I think there is much truth in what I just stated. You can thank me later. (wink) I have been eagerly waiting for Piper and Landons story since the moment I finished Submerged last May and I was not disappointed in the least. Its a high paced, high concept kind of story I believe will appeal across a wide spectrum of readers. Ah, talk about romance. Landon just about melted my heart with how much he loved Piper.
