I think THE VICIOUS DEEP might be my favorite of this year's mermaid books that I've read. Tristan Hart is a lifeguard who gets sucked into an epic wave when trying to save someone. Really liked how this book started, but also felt it kind of runs out of steam and collapses towards the end. The beginning though, is absolutely hilarious. The Vicious Deep is Absolutely Fan-friggin-tastic. Thank you, Zoraida Cordova, for Tristan Hart. I love this guy. Yeah, Tristans a little bit of a jerk when it comes to the girls. He's six-foot two of gorgeousness with a smart-ass sense of humor, but hes learning the error of his ways. Tristan made me want to jump into this novel.
