A love triangle that will span eternity…

The year is 1864 and the Civil War rages on. But seventeen-year-old Stefan Salvatore is fighting a battle all his own. Engaged to marry someone he does not love, Stefan falls for a mysterious girl named Katherine. With her gleaming curls and mischievous brown eyes, Katherine is beautiful and seduction…but she also harbors a dark secret: She’s a vampire.

Based on the popular CW TV show inspired by the bestselling novels, Stefan’s Diaries reveals what really happened between Stefan, Damon, and Katherine—and how the Vampire Diaries love triangle began.

Once I heard that the CW was releasing a trio of NEW vampire diaries books I can say that I was a little wary, but after picking the first volume "Origins" up @ my local Barnes & Noble I was interested to see if it worked since I'm a huge vampire diaries fan I've been since I was 13 and I'm 22 now :D turns out! that I loved the entire book, there wasn't a dull moment & the storyline just flowed so beautifully! It is from STEFAN SALVATORE'S point of view & I'm team stefan & I

Whats exciting about the Stefans Diaries series is that it's based on the characters in the TV show, not the ones in The Vampire Diaries books. That means picturing Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder as Stefan and Damon is encouraged. This first prequel volume, Origins, chronicles the Salvatores in 1864 when they first met Katherine and became vampires. Interestingly, dialogue straight from the show was included in the narrative (That is a girl who wants to be chased.), yet whole plot lines, like

Follow Just A Girl High On Books for more reviews."You have to believe in what you do. Otherwise, what's the point?"This was my second time reading this book and let me tell you, my reactions were still the same from back when I read it for the first time. Based on the TV show, "The Vampire Diaries", Origins is the story of Stefan and Damon before they became the blood-sucking vampires we have come to love and hate. This is the story of Katherine and her stay at the Veritas. This is the story of

Origins: Stefans Diaries #1 by L.J. SmithThis is the first novel I've read in over two weeks...thanks a-lot reading slumpI quite enjoyed this book. It was very interesting to read about the past of The Vampire Diaries involving Katherine, Stefan and Damon. I also found being in Stefan's head great. There's not a whole lot to say about this book other than it was a great insight into the characters lives, and into what Mystic Falls was like pre the Salvatore brother's vampire days. You also get to

The Vampire Diaries Stefan's diaries volume one origins is about a three way love triangle. There are two brothers Stefan and Damon. Damon being the free one who doesn't listen to others and does his own things and Stefan being the innocent one , who always obeys his fathers orders. Their father wants Stefan, the younger son to get married because Damon won't, but when His wife to be is dead, everyone is suspicious as a new beautiful girl is in town and Stefan and Damon who are loving brothers

I like to imagine that the ghost writer who wrote this book desperately needed money for a kidney transplant... or his kid's braces... just you know, something to justify this book. It wasn't an effort of love. I would be willing to bet money that author never read the original series nor did he or she (and for some reason I think it's a he) ever really watch the television series. As most people know the Vampire Diaries is very loosely based on the books LJ Smith wrote, but it deviated almost

First off, I am an adult who reads L.J. Smith's "Vampire Diaries" series and has since before it was ever a television show. That said, as a long-time fan of the series, I was excited when I got my hands on a copy of the latest, "Stefan's Diaries". I expected a quick, upbeat, fun read, such as all of the previous novels in the series. But what I got was hogwash! A terrible attempt at marrying the book series with the TV series, this novella is neither factually in-line with either. In fact, I
