The first book I read from Penelope was Stepbrother Dearest...and I floved it became an instant fan !!! This is my second book and now she has me trapped. I love her writing style. Jake Undone was such a beautiful story that pulled at your heart strings and encapsulated me so much. I could not put this book down. I can't wait to read Jake Understood and all the other books.4.5 stars. I loved it!Ever since reading Gemini and being introduced to Jake, I have been looking forward to reading this book. He intrigued me so much and I have been excited to read more about him, and this book was so much more than I was expecting - sweet, sexy, fun and flirtatious, but also deeply emotional, angsty and gorgeously romantic. I devoured this book and couldnt get enough of these characters and their complex, chemistry-filled love story.(Note - Though this book can standalone,
I liked Penelope Ward's Stepbrother Dearest.I thought I was going to like this one, too, especially as I wanted to get into the mood for her new book, Cocky Bastard. but this was so meh and boring, I feel bad wasting my time on writing a proper review.
Oh HELL YES!!! *insert massively unattractive fist pump here*Its been a LONG time since I found a book that I loved as much as I have this one. Well I loved the first book Penelope wrote so I knew this one would be a winner. I didn't think Penelope could write a better book but let me tell you she sure did. This book was amazing!! I still can't stop thinking about it. There was just something very special and unique about Jake. I just loved his character. He certainly stands out from several other heroes I have met. I just loved Nina to pieces. I can't recommend this book enough. A huge 5 stars!!!
