Narration In Pursuance Of Books 1919
Particularize Books Toward 1919

My review of "The 42nd Parallel" works for "1919":I kept coming across Dos Passos's USA trilogy as a "must read" -- and kept wondering why I had not heard about the author or trilogy while I was still a student (with a heavy load of literature classes because they were always my favorites). So . . . I jumped in. On the one hand, I am glad not to have read this until I was a grown man of a "certain age". Then again, I would have loved to have read it in my 20's too. The interesting style,The first book I read for Ahmed Mourad was "Diamond Dust" (تراب الماس)And to be honest, I thought I would like this one as much as I liked the previous one."1919" might be full of some historical facts and interesting information, that definitely want me to go back and open a history book, but it was kind of boring. It lost the touch of a novel and became more of a history book, and in the end, I started skipping parts, just to get a quick info on what happened with the different characters.Ahmed
As if I am a watching a very good Egyptian series, with Firdous Abdulhameed as Safiya Zaghlool :D
amazing book.... you would picture urself living in its period of time with all the details and well chosen words.I totally think that Ahmed Morad is very over rated but I admire his historical search and story telling techniques.
Looks like its exciting novel to read.
it is a perfect dose of Imaginary History as "ahmed morad" or narrotar mentioned alot of prombles that English occupation caused to egypt throuogh 1919 revaloution with showing the The suffering of the people of Armenia after After Ottoman persecution and by mentionaing one of egypt cards who is "ahmed keria" RIP** his death is very awful and "queen nazaly or nana" her end is very bad hope i see it a movie oneday
That's how history should be taught. It has to be delivered as a point of view, characters shouldn't be divided as angels & demons. Excuses & context have to be provided & judging should be the reader's job, not the writer's. RECOMMENDED.
