Narrative In Pursuance Of Books Coming Storm
In a long forgotten time a terrible war raged, entire countries were razed and even magic itself was decimated. According to myth the only survivors were Immortals, powerful sorcerers who achieved life everlasting. With the fall of the old world they scattered to the wild frontiers, or so the tale goes. Time marches on however and with magic barely an echo of its former self, technology presses on. The rising nation of The Syndicate is at the forefront making breakthrough after breakthrough in a handful of years. Establishing bases in the far flung frontier regions they have started a new endeavour of research into the ancient world, heedless of cost or consequence. As The Syndicate pushes deeper into the wilderness spurred on by ambition, mysterious deaths follow. Is this just the dangers of the wild, the resistance of the local tribes, or something else awoken by this intrusion?Rating Out Of Books Coming Storm

Fans of Space Operas, like those written by the likes of the great Iain Banks and Peter F. Hamilton, are sure to enjoy Coming Storm by David J Morden. Lots of interesting characters, plot the intertwine and weave together, and an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire planet. What more can you want from a Science Fiction novel? Morden's writing is detailed, building up a background to the world he has created, to create a piece of fiction that is substantial, engaging, convincing and

'Coming Storm' by David J Morden takes place in the far future, where the wars of the past are long forgotten, and the new power of the Syndicate forges forward. Wary of the threats that exist within the remnants of the ancient world, the Syndicate explores further and further flung regions, determined to claim what magical powers remain for themselves, to add to their advanced technology and weaponry. There is nothing the Syndicate won't do to remain the dominant power, but those residing in
If you are looking for an E-book that will entertain you for the time being, that has a retro feeling to it, try this gem out! It started off slowly but eventually became fast-paced as I got to the middle of it with the characters and plot having a Star Wars meets Conan the Barbarian edge that will cause the nostalgic in you to call it a favorite for the moment. The focus is on two areas called the Low and the government-esque Syndicate who is venturing into the Low to claim it and for purposes
Coming Storm by David J. Morden is a great example of simple and pure science fiction. It almost has a retro vibe making it appealing to a lot of different people, old and young alike. A fantasy, dystopian novel really geared toward the YA audience, the writing is good enough for adults as well. With a vast history of wars and destruction, this novel begins on tenuous ground, times are tough. The Syndicate is a rising nation on the threshold of taking over many lands with their technological
This is old-school sci-fi at its very best. Im not so much a fan of science fiction these days but this is a throwback to some of the classics I loved while growing up. You arent thrown in the deep end of action as you first begin reading as there are some important revelations and world-building necessary first. And once things get going they really get going. The writing is really quite compelling but doesnt make unnecessary technical complications like some sci-fi authors feel the need to do.
